That Redknaps’ goof!

I think it was three days ago that I spent a less than blissful time rifling through the net to see if there was something consequential enough to arouse my ire. To my bitter surprise, there was none. Not even that Redknaps’s comment on Goal.com about his team overtaking Arsenal, no, not that in the least. I believe an old man must be allowed his moment of unreality. If Harry chooses to think he may one day become the King of England, it’s his right to so think as an old man. After all, an old man deserves to be excused his occasional relapse into senility.

Life…

One thing we can say about life – and that we can say quite convincingly – is that head or tail, it wins. Life is full of complexities, paradoxes, confusion…I mean life operates on a broad specrum that defines definition. It shapes our lives the way it sees fit and it cares bugger all how we take it. Some who do not deserve to be rich have enough wealth to flaunt around while those who work hard for it just keep doing that – working hard. We have been told that education is the simplest pathway to a successful sojourn on earth, but there have been stories of stark illiterates who have worked wonders and have altered the direction of the world.

Really, all this does is to drive me to the happy conclusion that the best way to live this life is to live it, and to the full, though not unreasonably carelessly. Remember, head or tail, life wins.
